Hip-hop & R&B DJ
From the old-school classics to what's on the playlists right now. Hip-hop and R&B give a night attitude — and some of the biggest sing-along moments on the dance floor.
When does it fit?
Hip-hop and R&B are a natural fit for birthday parties, graduation parties, private parties and brand events that need an edge.
How we play it
We love telling the story through the decades, blending in R&B and soul so the floor holds even when the crowd is mixed. We always mix live — no pre-made playlists — and we're happy to take requests along the way.
More than one genre
Most nights, we mix it up. Tell us what you want to hear — and what you don't — and we'll build the night around it. See also Disco & funk, House, '80s, '90s & pop, Latin & reggaeton and vinyl DJ, or all genres.
Questions about the music
Can we choose the music ourselves?
Yes. Send us your must-play songs, the genres you love and a do-not-play list. Guests can also make requests on the night.
How much does a DJ cost in Copenhagen?
At Wax Crew, a DJ with sound system and lights costs DKK 5,000 for 2 hours, DKK 6,000 for 4 hours, DKK 8,000 for 6 hours and DKK 10,000 for 8 hours. Photo and social media video can be added for DKK 1,200 per hour.
